My passion for photography came out of my travels to many locations around the world and my love for the outdoors. In particular, it is the power, movement and overall aesthetic of rock climbing that has hightened, both literally and figuratively, my awareness of the human and terestrial landscape.

I started shooting with a simple SLR (single lens reflex) late in 1998 and have been shooting ever since. As I have had more opportunities to travel, climb and backpack, my joy as well as my aptitude for photography has increased. Through darkroom classes, reading and wealth of online resources the following photos are a culmination of my most recent work.
